Mankke Story

Mankke's journey began with a simple yet profound realization: that creativity and skill-building can be a potent catalyst for personal growth, social change, and economic empowerment. Our founders, inspired by the resilience and adaptability of visually impaired individuals, sought to create a platform that would unlock their creative potential, challenge stigma, and promote inclusivity.

With a deep commitment to inclusivity, empowerment, and creativity, Mankke launched its flagship program – macrame training and mentorship for blind and visually impaired individuals. Our expert instructors, trained in adaptive teaching methods, guide participants through the intricacies of macrame, fostering a sense of accomplishment, creative expression, and community belonging.

As our community grew, so did our vision. We expanded our scope to include:

» Design and creation of handmade macrame products, showcasing the talents of our artists and promoting economic empowerment.

» Collaborations with like-minded organizations, brands, and influencers, amplifying our impact and reach.

» Online store and partner retail channels, making our products accessible to a broader audience and promoting inclusivity.

» Community events, workshops, and exhibitions, challenging stigma and promoting social inclusion.
